How we design our collections

The focus of the June Plum collection is the artwork. I create the images with a focus on the design and colors, as well as the associated positive symbolism. Each garment comes with a card stating the symbolic meaning of the design and a wish for each child. This provides a creative way to send a message to mother and baby with a colorful wearable image.

I do all the artwork by hand and then scan the images. This gives me the ability to manipulate them further for a cleaner picture from which silk screens are produced. The images are then silk screened onto the garments. The simple styles are all made in the USA and are 100% cotton, except where indicated. We carry both organic and non-organic pieces. The garments can be machine-washed and tumble dried.
