Parents search for smart clothes, responsible for more than cute characters and fancy slogans. Artists search to bring their vision to life. I am a mother and an artist. In developing June Plum I aim to capture, on the living canvas, the color, love, and fun children bring us.In March 2006 my daughter Naiyah was born. She refreshed my passion and inspiration. After years focused in women's health, I wanted to paint again. I covered her onesies with colorful images that carried positive meaning and seemed to mirror her energy and joy. So with the birth of my daughter, June Plum was born.
June Plum is the product of two of the strongest, most natural forces in my life, motherhood and art. The creation of June Plum clothing is inspired by the creativity, fresh thinking, humor, and colorful spirits of children.
